Dhillon, the nominee for United States Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights in the Justice Department.
In another announcement, Trump revealed Christine Toretti as his pick for ambassador to Sweden. Toretti is described as an incredible businesswoman, philanthropist, and public servant who currently serves as Chairman of S&T Bancorp and a former director of the Pittsburgh Federal Reserve Bank. She has been actively involved in various important causes and organizations, including the International Medical Corps, the Andy Warhol Museum, and the NCAA Foundation. Toretti is also recognized as one of fewer than sixty women who have received the Athena International Global Award.
Retired Army Capt. Sam Brown has been chosen by Trump to serve as the next Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Brown, a Purple Heart recipient and successful businessman from Nevada, is hailed as an American hero who has dedicated his life to serving the country. After leading troops in battle in Afghanistan, Brown has continued his service by assisting veterans in accessing emergency medications. In his new role, he will focus on putting America’s veterans first and honoring all who have served.
