WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy on Monday in the White House to explore paths to end the Russian war in Ukraine.
The meeting was the first of two that Trump had planned for the day as part of his push to resolve the conflict in Ukraine after 3 1/2 years of fighting. After his bilateral encounter with Zenskyy, Trump brought in extra European leaders for a larger multilateral meeting.
