He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Stanford University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his confidence in DeSombre, stating that he believes DeSombre will work tirelessly for the country. Additionally, Trump announced the appointment of Paolo Zampolli as special envoy for global partnerships. Zampolli’s extensive experience working with the United Nations, Kennedy Center, and various international initiatives will aid the Trump administration in advancing America’s interests on the global stage.

Furthermore, Trump revealed his selection of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Mayor Bill Bazzi as the U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia. Bazzi, a decorated U.S. Marine with 21 years of service, also has experience working as a quality manager at Boeing and a product development engineer at Ford Motor Company. After 22 years at Ford, Bazzi took early retirement to serve as mayor of Dearborn Heights. Trump commended Bazzi for his efforts during the 2024 Presidential Election and expressed optimism about his future accomplishments for the nation.

Finally, Trump announced Dr. Anji Sinha as his choice for U.S. ambassador to Singapore. Describing her as a highly respected entrepreneur with a remarkable family, Trump emphasized the importance of the relationship between the United States and Singapore.
