Trump says Dems ‘will never win another election’ if they keep pushing for trans athletes to compete against women

President Donald Trump drew laughs from the press when a reporter asked him to define what a woman is during a news conference after Alina Habba was sworn in as the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey. The reporter praised Trump for his work for women and listed powerful women in his administration before posing the question.
Trump responded with humor, saying that a woman is someone who can have a baby under certain circumstances, someone who is much smarter than a man, and someone who doesn’t give a man a chance at success. The room erupted in laughter as Trump continued to define a woman in a light-hearted manner.
However, Trump took a serious turn as he addressed the issue of transgender athletes playing in women’s sports. He expressed his concerns about the unfairness and demeaning nature of allowing men to compete against women in sports. Trump criticized a Democrat lawmaker for fighting to keep transgender athletes in women’s sports and joked that Democrats would never win another election if they continued to support this stance.
The Trump administration has taken action to combat gender ideology, with Trump signing an executive order prohibiting educational institutions from allowing trans athletes to compete against women. Another executive order officially recognized only two genders, male and female, within the U.S. government.
Furthermore, the U.S. Department of Education launched an investigation into the California Department of Education over alleged violations of the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act after a new California law barred schools from disclosing a child’s gender identity to their parents.
As Trump concluded his response, he praised women for their incredible contributions to the country and vowed to take care of them. The press conference showcased Trump’s views on women’s rights and his administration’s efforts to protect women in various aspects of society.
