Trump share McDonald’s with RFK Jr., Elon Musk, Donald Jr. and Speaker Johnson

President-elect Trump and members of his inner circle recently enjoyed a casual meal from McDonald’s aboard Trump’s private plane. Donald Trump Jr. shared a photo on Sunday morning, joking that their mission to make Americans healthier would have to wait for another day. The group included Elon Musk, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Donald Trump Jr., and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services secretary.

The group had traveled to New York City to attend UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden after Trump’s historic campaign rally last month. The photo shared by Trump Jr. showed Kennedy, known for his criticism of processed foods, indulging in McDonald’s and a Coca-Cola. Kennedy has not been shy about expressing his views on Trump’s diet and the food served on his private plane.

Kennedy told podcaster Joe Polish that the food on Trump’s plane is “just poison” and described it as “kind of inedible.” He has been vocal about his plans to overhaul departments within the Food and Drug Administration for not fulfilling their duties. Despite his criticism, Kennedy endorsed Trump and became one of his most prominent surrogates during the campaign, advocating for the “Make America Healthy Again” movement.

As Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services secretary, Kennedy has already started soliciting input from the public on policies and personnel for the department. He launched a website called “Policies for the People” where individuals can nominate, suggest, and vote for the leaders and policies they want to see under the Trump administration.

The unique dining experience and Kennedy’s unconventional approach to health and nutrition have sparked curiosity and discussions among Americans. It remains to be seen how Kennedy’s advocacy for healthier living will shape his role as the Health and Human Services secretary in the upcoming administration.
