Trump suggests GOP should consider removing Democrats from Congress

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social late on Thursday night to unleash a scathing post as he once again finds himself facing the threat of impeachment. In his post, Trump suggested that it is time for Republicans to turn the tables and consider expelling Democrats from Congress.

“The Democrats have completely lost control of themselves. They are completely unhinged, especially the Radical Left Lunatics. They are once again fixated on impeachment. Two little-known, highly disrespected Congressmen, who are total Whackjobs, are throwing around the idea of impeaching me for the 20th time, even though they can’t even articulate what the charges would be,” Trump ranted in his post.

Earlier this week, Rep. Shri Thanedar, a Democrat from Michigan, announced articles of impeachment against Trump. Rep. Al Green, a Democrat from Texas, also voiced his support for impeachment and vowed to introduce his own articles targeting the former president.

Trump didn’t hold back in his criticism, suggesting that Republicans should consider expelling these Democrats from Congress for the crimes they have committed, particularly around election time. He accused the Democrats of using impeachment as a political weapon and called them “total LOWLIFES” who hate America.

Thanedar’s resolution includes seven articles of impeachment, ranging from obstruction of justice to abuse of trade powers. Trump, who was impeached twice during his first term, faced acquittal in the Senate both times.

“These are very dishonest people who are preventing our country from healing. Why do we allow them to continuously abuse the impeachment process against the President who is working tirelessly to save our nation?” Trump questioned in his post.

The former president went on to suggest that perhaps it’s time for Republicans to turn the tables and consider expelling Democrats for their own crimes. He referenced Adam Schiff’s request for a pardon and hinted at the idea of using the power of expulsion against the Democrats.

As the political drama unfolds, it remains to be seen how Republicans will respond to Trump’s call for retaliation against the Democrats. The contentious relationship between the two parties shows no signs of abating, setting the stage for a potentially explosive showdown in the halls of Congress.

In conclusion, President Trump’s fiery post on Truth Social has once again ignited the flames of political discord, with both parties gearing up for a battle that could further polarize the nation. The specter of impeachment looms large over the political landscape, leaving both sides on edge as they navigate the treacherous waters of Washington, D.C.
