Trump suggests ‘terrorist thugs’ in Tesla arson attack serve time in El Salvador

In a shocking statement on TRUTH Social, President Donald Trump suggested that convicted Tesla arsonists should serve their expected decades-long sentences in El Salvador prisons. The president expressed his desire to see these “sick terrorist thugs” receive 20-year jail sentences for their attacks on Elon Musk and Tesla.
The FBI is currently investigating a surge in attacks against Tesla vehicles and facilities across the country, labeling them as acts of domestic terrorism. As a result, the Trump administration is cracking down on those responsible, with Attorney General Pamela Bondi announcing charges against three individuals accused of using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars and charging stations.
One defendant was arrested in Oregon after throwing Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership, while another was apprehended in Colorado for attempting to set Teslas on fire. A third defendant in South Carolina vandalized Tesla charging stations with profane messages against Trump before lighting them on fire. Each of these individuals faces serious charges that could result in up to 20 years in prison.
President Trump’s call to have these convicted arsonists serve their sentences in El Salvador prisons comes at a time when the country is already housing alleged members of the Venezuelan criminal organization, Tren de Aragua, a designated terror group by the U.S. The first 238 individuals have been transferred to the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador, where they will remain for at least a year.
The attacks on Tesla vehicles and facilities have been reported in at least nine states, with some of the most prominent cases occurring in left-leaning cities like Portland and Seattle. From Molotov cocktails being thrown at Tesla showrooms to gunfire damaging vehicles and windows, these acts of vandalism are being taken seriously by law enforcement.
As the FBI continues to investigate these incidents, the Trump administration is sending a clear message that those responsible will face severe consequences. The president’s warning on TRUTH Social serves as a reminder that anyone involved in these attacks will be held accountable and could potentially face decades behind bars.
