Kies brings with him 47 years of experience as a tax lawyer, having previously held positions as the chief of staff for the Joint Committee on Taxation and the chief Republican tax counsel of the House Ways and Means Committee. Additionally, Alexandra Preate has been appointed as senior counsel to the secretary. Trump praised Preate as an accomplished executive in public relations.
Joining the team are Hunter McMaster, who will serve as the director of policy planning, and Daniel Katz, who will serve as chief of staff. He is also the founder and CEO of Charles & Potomac Capital, LLC, the chairman of the board of Pinnacle Live, LLC, and a board member of Ondas Holdings. Trump highlighted Popolo’s achievements, including being an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner and a recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Award.
