Trump’s ‘border czar’ warns Dem govs rejecting Trump deportation plan: ‘Get the hell out of the way’

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Thomas Homan as the new “border czar” in his administration, signaling a tough stance on mass deportations of illegal immigrants. Homan, who previously served as acting ICE director, has a clear message for Democratic governors who oppose the planned deportation operation: “If they’re not willing to help, then get the hell out of the way because ICE is going to do their job.”

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Homan expressed his frustration with Democratic governors like Mass. Gov. Maura Healey, who have indicated they will not cooperate with the administration on deportations. He emphasized the need for state and local government assistance but made it clear that ICE will proceed with the operation regardless of their support.

Homan believes that some “sanctuary” jurisdictions will work with the administration behind the scenes, despite their public opposition. He stressed the importance of targeting illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or charges, as was done during the first Trump administration.

While Homan assured that the deportation operation will be targeted and not a massive sweep of neighborhoods, he warned that no one in the country illegally is exempt from removal. He highlighted the need for consequences for those who enter illegally and do not have a valid asylum claim.

With millions of people crossing the southern border illegally under the Biden administration, Homan argued that a mass deportation operation is necessary to enforce the law and secure the border. He emphasized the need for resources and funding to carry out the operation effectively.

Homan, a former police officer and Border Patrol agent, reiterated his commitment to securing the border and enforcing immigration laws. He emphasized the nonpartisan nature of border security and expressed his readiness to assist President Trump in any capacity necessary.

As the new “border czar,” Homan will play a crucial role in implementing the administration’s tough stance on immigration. With a focus on national security and public safety, he is determined to address the challenges posed by illegal immigration and ensure the protection of American citizens.
