Trump’s ICE racks up hundreds of arrests, including illegal immigrants arrested for horror crimes
In the early days of the Trump administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been busy cracking down on illegal immigrants with criminal histories. According to information obtained by Fox News Digital, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) made a total of 460 arrests in a 33-hour period, targeting individuals with backgrounds in sexual assault, domestic violence, drugs, weapons crimes, and other serious offenses.
These arrests were not limited to any particular nationality, as nationals from countries such as Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, and many others were apprehended. The operations took place across the United States, including states like Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and Maryland.
One of the notable arrests during this period was that of Kamaro Denver Haye, a Jamaican citizen who was previously arrested by the New York City Police Department for promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age.
ICE also issued over 420 detainers, requesting notification upon the release of individuals arrested for crimes like homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, battery, and robbery. Among the arrests made, there were cases like Jesus Perez, a Mexican national charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and Franklin Osorto-Cruz, a Honduran national convicted of driving while intoxicated.
In addition to these arrests, multiple MS-13 gang members, Interpol Red Notices, and murder and rape suspects were apprehended in Boston. The Trump administration has been swift in fulfilling its promise to conduct mass deportation operations, with a focus on public safety threats.
This week, the Department of Homeland Security removed limits on the powers of expedited removal, signaling a more aggressive approach to immigration enforcement. ICE Acting Director Tom Homan emphasized the importance of prioritizing public safety threats and targeting individuals who pose a risk to communities.
As the administration continues to ramp up its efforts, it is clear that ICE will be focusing on enforcing immigration laws and removing those who have committed serious crimes. The crackdown on illegal immigrants with criminal histories underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the American people.
