Turkey Tops Canada to end group game at the Women’s Volleyball World Championship

Canada faced their first defeat in the Women’s Volleyball World Championship on Wednesday, losing 3-0 to Turkey with a score of 25-21, 27-25, 25-13. The undefeated Turkish team dominated the match with a 49-35 lead in attack points and 10-5 in blocks.

Leading the charge for Turkey was Melissa Vargas, who contributed 16 points to their victory.
