Up to 15 centimetres of snow expected Sunday in parts of Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Braces for Snowfall Across the Province
Nova Scotia is currently facing heavy snowfall throughout much of the province on Sunday. According to CBC meteorologist Ryan Snoddon, residents can expect to see anywhere from 5-15 centimetres of snow, with the potential for higher amounts in the southwestern region.
The snow is predicted to continue falling throughout the day, gradually tapering off from west to east by the afternoon and evening. This weather event has prompted the Halifax Regional Municipality to implement a winter parking ban in both Zone 1 (central) and Zone 2 (non-central) starting Sunday evening. Drivers are advised to park their vehicles off municipal streets between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. to facilitate snow clearing efforts.
Furthermore, Halifax Stanfield airport has issued a warning that flights may be impacted by the snowfall. Travellers are encouraged to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport to avoid any potential delays or cancellations.
As Nova Scotians navigate through the snowy conditions, it is important to stay informed and prepared for the winter weather that has descended upon the province.
