UPDATE: New Glasgow man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant for robbery arrested

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — On 9 p.m. on Dec. 13, David Stewart Gaudet was arrested with assistance from the Pictou County District RCMP.

Gaudet is in custody and will appear in Pictou provincial court on Dec. 14.


New Glasgow Regional Police (NGRP) have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man concerning a robbery in New Glasgow.

The robbery took place at a convenience store and gas station on Marsh Street on Dec. 10. NGRP are looking for David Stewart Gaudet, 36, who may be residing in Pictou County.

Gaudet is facing charges of:

  •  Robbery
  •  Wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an indictable offence

The NGRP have made several attempts to locate Gaudet and are requesting assistance from the public.
