Victims of ‘gender industrial complex’ will get justice in court, attorney for detransitioners pledges

Lawsuits against doctors, hospitals, and gender clinics are continuing despite President Donald Trump’s executive order halting federal funding for the “surgical mutilation” of minors. Attorney Mark Trammell, representing several detransitioners, stated that these young women were victimized by the gender industrial complex from a young age, with some undergoing double mastectomies and being put on puberty blockers and off-label cross-sex hormones without informed consent.
After a federal judge in Baltimore issued a temporary restraining order against Trump’s executive order, some hospitals that had initially complied with the order reversed course. Trammell mentioned that lawsuits could be a more effective way to achieve justice for these young women, potentially recovering financial damages for the harm they have suffered.
The Center for American Liberty has been involved in gender ideology lawsuits, starting with cases of social transitions in schools. Parents became aware of the issue when schools socially transitioned children without notifying them. One client, Aurora Regino, discovered that her daughter was being socially transitioned without her knowledge.
The Department of Education recently hosted a meeting with detransitioners and activists to discuss concerns about gender ideology in schools. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon emphasized the importance of parental involvement and protecting children from harmful interventions. The administration continues to push against what they call “radical gender ideology,” reminding hospitals of the dangers of chemical and surgical mutilation of children.
Despite the federal judge’s restraining order, Trump’s administration is determined to address the issue of harmful medical interventions for gender dysphoria in children. A Department of Health and Human Services memo warned hospitals of the irreversible harm caused by these treatments and indicated that CMS may adjust its policies in the future to protect children.
In conclusion, the fight against harmful gender ideology and medical interventions for minors continues through lawsuits and policy changes. The voices of detransitioners and activists are being heard, and steps are being taken to ensure the well-being of children and prevent irreversible harm caused by these practices.
