Latest round of invitation IEC 2023 sent 1,700 work visa ITAs

Last invitation round for International Experience Canada – IEC 2023 for the week ending July 7, approximately 1,700 invitations to apply for work permits (ITAs).
The vast majority of invitations, 1,556, were issued to applicants from countries eligible for the Working Holiday visa category, which grants these individuals unlimited work permits.
In 2023, the Working Holiday category has already sent about 86,617 invitations to apply for open work permits. These invitations have been handed out so far.
About 136 candidates were invited in the Young Professionals category and about 97 people were invited in the International Co-op (internship) category.
The latest IRCC processing time update indicates that the processing time for the current IEC season is now 9 weeks.
