Walking: with cattle and calves parts with grasslands with cattle and calves

Most people don’t get a chance to walk in a grazing meadow with cattle and calves. It can be intimidating and be an experience to learn how to share the landscape of nature. Not too much knowing that Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, next to an incredible park, is a working cattle farm. Glenbow Ranch is located between Calgary and Cochrane along the Bow River and spreads from more than 3,300 hectares. The park is co -managed by Alberta Parks and the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation. Grazing cattle is an essential and integral part of maintaining a healthy biodiverse grassland system. Ensuring that visitors and cattle can co -exist in a park is a nice balance.
