Watch Canada’s Audrey Leduc compete at Paris Diamond League
The Diamond League track and field meet in Paris, France is set to showcase some of the world’s top athletes on Friday. Fans can tune in live beginning at 3 p.m. ET to catch all the action on the video player above.
One of the athletes to watch is Canada’s Audrey Leduc, who will be competing in the women’s 200 metres. The 26-year-old from Gatineau, Que., holds the Canadian record in the event with a time of 22.36 seconds. Leduc will face stiff competition from top-ranked competitors such as Americans Brittany Brown and Anavia Battle, as well as sixth-ranked Dina Asher-Smith of Great Britain. The women’s 200m is scheduled to start at 4:08 p.m. ET.
In addition to the women’s 200m, the event will also feature the women’s high jump, where the top-ranked athletes in the world will go head-to-head. Defending champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh of Ukraine will face tough competition from Australians Nikola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson. The event kicks off at 3:06 p.m. ET.
For fans of the men’s events, the 110m hurdles will feature 2024 Olympic champion and world No. 1-ranked hurdler Grant Holloway. With the second-fastest time ever recorded in the event, Holloway is the favorite to win. The final will take place at 3:43 p.m. ET.
