Winnipeg Jets: Brad Lambert making season debut
The Winnipeg Jets are making a quick stop at home at Canada Life Centre after wrapping up a challenging six-game road trip. During this stretch, they struggled, only managing to win two out of the six games and losing their last three. Additionally, the team faced a setback when Nikolaj Ehlers suffered an injury on Nov. 29, leading to his placement on the injured reserve list. Head Coach Scott Arniel anticipates Ehlers’ recovery to take about a week to 10 days, with hopes that he can make a speedier return.
To fill the gap left by Ehlers’ absence, the Jets have called up a young talent from the Manitoba Moose. Brad Lambert, who has been performing well with the Moose with 11 points in 16 games, will be joining the second line at centre between Cole Perfetti and Gabe Vilardi.
