White House Fires CDC Director

Less than a month after being sworn in, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Susan Monarez was fired, the White House announced.

Spokesperson Kush Desai of the White House, late on Wednesday, said that Monarez was not “tailored to the president’s agenda to make America healthy again.”
