In a shocking development, two illegal migrants from Guatemala have been charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, and kidnapping after allegedly abducting a woman from an Oklahoma casino. The victim reported being taken against her will from the First Council Casino & Resort in Newkirk, Oklahoma, and subjected to repeated assaults while being transported to Arkansas City, Kansas.
One of the suspects, Luis Miguel Dominguez-Barrios, crossed the southern border illegally in 2013 and was released by the Obama Administration despite previous arrests for disorderly conduct, domestic violence, and threatening a law enforcement officer. His accomplice, Jose Fernando-Lux Morales, entered the country as an unaccompanied minor in 2018.
Both Dominguez-Barrios and Morales are currently in custody, facing charges of rape, sodomy, and kidnapping. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed arrest detainers on the suspects to prevent their release and ensure they face justice for their heinous crimes.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin of the Department of Homeland Security condemned the actions of the suspects, stating that they have no place in our country. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, ICE is actively working to remove criminal illegal aliens from our streets and protect innocent Americans from harm.
DHS has made significant progress in arresting and removing illegal aliens, with over 359,000 arrests and 332,000 removals reported as of Monday. The department has also launched a new ICE fleet to enhance recruitment and visibility in the fight against transnational organized crime.
As the investigation into this disturbing incident continues, the Arkansas City, Kansas police department and First Council Casino & Resort have declined to comment. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
