Woman Attacked on Trail in Cole Harbour, N.S.

A 44-year-old woman was the victim of a terrifying attack on a trail in Cole Harbour, N.S. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, when the woman was walking on the trail between Poplar Drive and Cranberry Crescent around 9 p.m. AT.

According to the RCMP, the woman was approached from behind, assaulted, and then sexually assaulted by an unknown assailant. Despite the traumatic experience, the woman managed to fight off her attacker and sustained only minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a six-foot-tall man, weighing approximately 230 pounds, with brown eyes. At the time of the attack, he was sporting a goatee and was dressed in a black hoodie with a white logo and a black ball cap.
