Woman taken to hospital by helicopter after crash in Annapolis County

PARKERS COVE, NS — A 47-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries after her vehicle collided with a parked semi-trailer in Annapolis County on Wednesday.

Annapolis District RCMP and Annapolis Royal firefighters responded to the crash on Shore Road West just after 5:30 p.m.

The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car, suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

No one was in the parked truck, police said.

A collision reporter was called to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
