WWE boss calls Trump ‘genius’ for his ability to generate heat

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H in the pro wrestling world, recently discussed President Donald Trump’s ability to generate heat in a podcast interview. Levesque appeared on the “Flagrant” podcast to reminisce about some of the most iconic moments in WWE history.

Levesque was asked about Trump’s entry into the political scene in 2015 when he first ran for president. The discussion revolved around whether Levesque knew Trump would eventually win the election due to the reactions he received. Levesque praised Trump’s charisma and his knack for getting under people’s skin, stating, “Trump’s ability… like him or hate him, the way he does it, he’s charismatic in so many ways and I think he likes getting under people’s skin.”

The WWE executive also touched upon Trump’s success in the business world, attributing it to his charisma and character. Levesque highlighted Trump’s ability to captivate people with his words and actions, which ultimately led to his rise to fame and success.

Interestingly, Trump and Levesque have a personal connection beyond the wrestling ring. Trump appeared at WrestleMania 23 in a Battle of the Billionaires match, where Bobby Lashley famously shaved the head of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon. Furthermore, Linda McMahon, who is Levesque’s mother-in-law, served in the Trump administration and was named the education secretary during his presidency.

In 2013, Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, solidifying his ties to the world of professional wrestling. The discussion between Levesque and Trump sheds light on the crossover between entertainment, politics, and business, showcasing how personalities like Trump have leveraged their charisma and presence to achieve success in various fields.
