This approach resulted in an 11-point shift towards Trump among voters under 30, compared to the 2020 election.
Vice President Kamala Harris, on the other hand, underperformed with young voters, receiving only 51% of their support compared to President Biden’s 61% in his victory over Trump. Gill’s election as president of the freshman class of House Republicans signifies a new generation of conservative leaders emerging within the party.
Looking ahead, Gill stressed the importance of following through on promises to sustain the momentum of the 2024 election. He emphasized the need for real conservative reform and standing up to the establishment to bring about meaningful change.
