Shooting in Coquitlam leaves a man dead
COQUITLAM, BC — A man died Sunday night following a shooting in Coquitlam.
RCMP was called to Foster Avenue and North Road shortly before 9:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately began life-saving measures, but the victim died on the spot.
Investigators say they believe the shooting is an isolated incident.
People who may have witnessed the incident or are in possession of video footage such as a dashcam, surveillance camera or mobile phone are asked to contact the police.
