Nova Scotia gas prices drop by 5 cents a litre
It’s going to cost you a little less this week to drive to the store for storm chips.
Nova Scotia’s gas price regulator dropped the price of gas by five cents a litre overnight, meaning that in Zone 1, which includes the Halifax Regional Municipality area, a litre of regular self-serve is now set at 183.1 cents.
Diesel drivers didn’t have the same luck – it’ll cost them 3.1 cents more a litre, a price of 198.9 cents.
One year ago this week, gas was priced at 164.3 cents per litre, and diesel was 198.7.
