Digby General Hospital ER to be closed Feb. 8-11

DIGBY, N.S. — Digby General Hospital emergency department is temporarily closing from Feb. 8-11.

The emergency room will be closed from 4 p.m. on Thursday and reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Residents are asked to call 911 for any medical emergency, or 811 for general health advice and information.

Those without a primary care provider can make an appointment with the Digby Health Services Centre by calling 902-245-1307. The clinic opens Wednesday evening for non-urgent health needs.

Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department in Middleton is open every Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
