Andre de Grasse and Audrey Leduc will lead the Canadian sprinters hitting the track on Monday to attempt to qualify in the men’s and women’s 200m events at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, north of Paris.

De Grasse of Markham, Ont., will compete in the fifth heat, set for 2:23 p.m. ET. He’s the defending champion in the event.

Before De Grasse, fellow Canadians Brendon Rodney and Aaron Brown will take part in different heats starting at 2:09 p.m. ET.

Leduc of Gatineau, Que., will aim to secure a final berth in the women’s 200m semifinals starting at 2:45 p.m. ET. Fellow Canadian Jacqueline Madogo will attempt to do the same at 2:54 p.m. ET.
