Hamilton Resident Wins $20 Million Lotto Max Jackpot

A lucky individual from Hamilton is now $20 million richer after purchasing the winning Lotto Max ticket for Friday night’s draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission (OLG) announced that the jackpot-winning ticket was sold in the western part of the city, just outside of Toronto. The identity of the winner has not been revealed yet.

The winning numbers for the draw were 05, 06, 07, 24, 27, 29, 32, with a bonus number of 47.

In addition to the $20 million jackpot, there were over 635,000 winning tickets sold across Ontario for the same draw. One lucky individual won the second prize of $170,000 after purchasing their ticket online. Two more tickets worth $100,000 each were sold in Toronto and Lambton County.

The upcoming Lotto Max draw is scheduled for Christmas Eve and will have an estimated jackpot of $10 million.

The OLG states that the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 33,294,800, making this win truly remarkable.
