White House fires back at progressive filmmaker: ‘Dumbest statement of the year’

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has announced a new initiative to target and deport dangerous criminals who have entered the United States illegally. In a recent interview on ‘Hannity,’ Noem outlined the operations to secure the southern border, focusing on removing “the worst of the worst” with criminal records.

This announcement comes in response to criticism from progressive filmmaker Michael Moore, who raised concerns about deporting illegal immigrants and the potential loss of individuals who could make significant contributions to society. Moore suggested that those being deported could include future cancer-curing scientists or individuals who might prevent a catastrophic asteroid impact.

In a sharp rebuttal, the White House dismissed Moore’s comments as “a strong contender for dumbest statement of the year.” The administration emphasized that those being deported are not scholars but criminals, including child sex predators, rapists, murderers, and gang members.

Among the individuals targeted for deportation are members of the violent gang MS-13, such as Salvadoran national Sergio Arquimides Pineda, who was convicted of driving while intoxicated and aggravated assault. Other arrested migrants include Guatemalan national Edilio Agustin-Orellana, facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, intimidation, and armed home invasion.

Additionally, Turkish national Gokhan Adriguzel, a known or suspected terrorist, was also listed as a target for deportation. The White House stressed the importance of removing these dangerous individuals from American communities to protect citizens.

In response to Moore’s criticism, White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai sarcastically suggested that Moore visit the labs set up by criminal organizations in their home countries. Desai reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to prioritizing the safety of American citizens by deporting criminal immigrants.

As the Trump administration continues its efforts to crack down on illegal immigration, the focus remains on removing individuals who pose a threat to public safety. This initiative aims to ensure that American communities are free from the influence of criminal organizations and individuals who engage in violent activities.

In conclusion, the administration’s deportation efforts are targeted at removing dangerous criminals from the United States, in line with the commitment to prioritize the safety and security of American citizens. The White House stands firm in its resolve to enforce immigration laws and protect communities from criminal elements.
