The Democrats’ silence on the violence and vandalism against Tesla continues to raise eyebrows as Fox News Digital received a cold shoulder from Democratic lawmakers when asked if they condemn the “domestic terrorism” targeting Tesla. Only Rep. Rosa DeLauro offered comments, while House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to denounce the violence against Tesla when confronted on Capitol Hill.
Despite the FBI launching a task force to address Tesla-related crime and the Justice Department announcing charges against arson suspects, Democratic leaders like Jeffries and Pelosi have remained tight-lipped on the issue. This is particularly surprising given their past statements condemning domestic terrorism, with Jeffries calling it a “poison” that is destroying society and Pelosi commending her colleagues for refusing to accept the House GOP’s failure to investigate such acts.
When asked directly about the attacks on Tesla, Jeffries and Pelosi avoided the question, with Jeffries even refusing to acknowledge it as his staff ushered him inside the Capitol. Other Democrats who have spoken passionately against domestic terrorism have also remained silent on the issue, including those who sponsored legislation to combat such acts. Rep.
