Fetterman gift silver-plated pager from Netanyahu

In return, Netanyahu presented Fetterman with the silver-plated beeper, jokingly stating, “What can I give a man who has everything? How about giving him a beeper? This is a silver-plated beeper. The real beeper is, like, one-tenth the weight. It’s nothing, but it changes history.”

The beeper references Israel’s September 2024 operation in Lebanon, where they detonated pagers used by Hezbollah members, leading to the deaths of dozens. Fetterman expressed his admiration for the operation, stating, “When that story broke, I was like, ‘Oh, I love it, I love it.’ And now, it’s like, thank you for this.”

This exchange of gifts between Fetterman and Netanyahu highlights the strong bond between the United States and Israel, as well as Fetterman’s unwavering support for the Jewish state.
