Canada’s Walk of Fame Announces 2025 Inductees

TORONTO –

Canada’s Walk of Fame has revealed the esteemed individuals who will be inducted into the prestigious honor next year. Rock band Our Lady Peace, golf sensation Mike Weir, and acclaimed actress Tonya Williams are among the notable figures set to join the ranks of Canadian icons.

Joining them in the 2025 induction class are Juno-winning guitarist Liona Boyd, renowned cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Tirone David, and humanitarian Dr. Samantha Nutt, the founder of War Child Canada.

The Walk of Fame, which pays tribute to outstanding Canadians for their exceptional accomplishments, will host an awards ceremony in Toronto in June to celebrate the new inductees.

These distinguished individuals will join the esteemed company of over 230 Canadians who have been immortalized on Canada’s Walk of Fame. This year, the sole inductee was Dr. Frank J. Hayden, the visionary kinesiology professor whose groundbreaking research laid the foundation for the Special Olympics movement.
