Canada Post suspends mail delivery in Bridgewater, Kentville, N.S.

KENTVILLE, N.S. — Residents of Bridgewater and Kentville will be without any mail delivery today, with inclement weather cancelling routes for both communities.

Canada Post said the safety of workers remains the top priority during poor weather and road conditions, leading to post workers being pulled from routes.

The remainder of Nova Scotians may also be waiting longer than usual for their mail, with every other community under a ‘Yellow alert” mail delay.

The national postal service said workers will aim to deliver all outstanding mail as soon as possible.
