Four Arrested for Drug and Firearms Offenses in Dartmouth and Eastern Passage

Following searches conducted in Dartmouth and Eastern Passage, the police have apprehended four individuals for drug and firearms-related offenses.

On August 19, authorities executed search warrants at residences on Cow Bay Road in Huizen, Serop Crescent in Eastern Passage, and Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth.

During the searches, law enforcement seized two firearms with altered serial numbers, as well as cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Among those arrested were Daniel Michaud, 33, of Eastern Passage, and Jonathan Tibayan, 55, of Dartmouth. Both individuals are facing multiple charges, including possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, tampering with a serial number, and involvement in human trafficking.

Michaud and Tibayan have been taken into custody and are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in September.

Additionally, a 56-year-old man and a 59-year-old man from Dartmouth will also face various charges in provincial court at a later date.
