A man in Connecticut found himself in a tricky situation recently, but thanks to the quick response of emergency services, he was rescued from a playground slide.
On August 16, a 40-year-old man became stuck in a tube slide at a primary school in Vernon, Connecticut. The Vernon Fire Department, EMS, and Police Department were called to the scene just after 4:30 pm to assist in the rescue operation.
The man was reportedly in “extreme discomfort” due to the hot summer temperatures, so EMS provided him with ventilation and oxygen. Additional help was called in, including a fire truck, Rescue 141, and Tower 541.
