Ferry between PEI and NS out of service due to technical problems

WOOD ISLANDS, PEI — Northumberland Ferries Ltd. has canceled ferry service between Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia from June 18 to June 20.

The company said technical issues with the MV Confederation forced the cancellation of all crossings between Wood Islands, PEI and Caribou, NS through Tuesday.

Any updates on further cancellations or a possible reopening will be posted to NFLs website.
