GOP lawmakers rally around Trump admin for massive nightclub raid targeting illegal immigrants
Rep. Jeff Crank, R-Colo., has responded to the recent Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) bust at an illegal nightclub in his district, which resulted in over 100 illegal immigrants being arrested. Attorney General Pam Bondi raised concerns about the nightclub, referring to it as a venue “frequented by Tren de Aragua and MS-13 terrorists.” Rep. DEA Acting Administrator Derek Maltz has previously labeled Colorado as “ground zero for some of the most violent criminals in America,” citing the presence of Tren de Aragua’s leadership in the state. Similar operations have been conducted in the past, including a nightclub raid in Adams County earlier this year that led to 50 illegal immigrant arrests, including alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
