Halifax police investigating alleged sexual assault on Dartmouth bus

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Police in Dartmouth are looking to identify the suspect of an alleged sexual harassment and assault on a bus on Jan. 19.

Halifax Regional Police received a report of a man approaching a group of youth who didn’t know him at the Mic Mac bus terminal at around 9:30 p.m.

Police said the man followed the group onto a bus, made sexual comments to the group and sexually touched some of the youths.

The youths then left the bus and reported the incident.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s to 50s, standing around five feet six inches with short white hair.

At the time, the man was wearing a black and grey checkered jacket, a black hat and a camouflage print backpack.
