Halifax police investigating sexual assault at Camp Hill Cemetery

HALIFAX, N.S. — Police in Halifax are turning to the public for help in the investigation into a sexual assault that happened at the Camp Hill Cemetery.

Around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to the cemetery at 1600 Summer St. following a report of a man approaching a woman not known to him and touching her sexually.

The man is described as being in his 40s, standing about five feet eight inches tall, with a greying goatee.

At the time, he was wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and flip-flops.
