Navy sailor Angelina Resendiz, 21, missing from Norfolk naval station

Virginia authorities are currently on the lookout for missing sailor Angelina Petra Resendiz, who was last seen on May 29 at her barracks in Norfolk. The last sighting of Resendiz, 21, was reported around 10 p.m. in Miller Hall at Naval Station Norfolk, according to Virginia State Police.

Castle also revealed that Resendiz has not been responding to calls or texts from her family, which is highly unusual behavior for her. She emphasized that Resendiz and her sister have a 400-day streak on Snapchat, and it is out of character for her daughter to not communicate with her loved ones.
The 21-year-old does not have a means of transportation as she does not drive or own a vehicle. She was reported missing after failing to show up for work, as reported by WVEC.
Castle expressed her deep concern over her daughter’s sudden disappearance, stating, “She just stopped existing Thursday. She’s spent no money, made no calls.”
