FBI reopens probe into cocaine found at Biden White House in 2023

The FBI is reopening the investigation into the discovery of cocaine inside the White House during the Biden administration in 2023, Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced. He stated that they were re-evaluating cases of potential public corruption that had garnered public interest, including the DC pipe bombing investigation, the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case, and the cocaine discovery at the previous administration’s White House.
Bongino emphasized that they were dedicating additional resources and investigative attention to these cases and encouraged anyone with tips to come forward and contact the FBI. The FBI did not provide further comment on the matter when approached by Fox News Digital.
Former President Donald Trump had previously suggested that either President Joe Biden or his son, Hunter Biden, may have been responsible for leaving the bag of cocaine at the White House. The bag was found on July 2, 2023, in a storage locker near the entrance to the White House’s West Wing. The Secret Service launched an investigation but was unable to identify a suspect as the evidence did not yield any fingerprints or sufficient DNA for comparison.
Despite Trump’s insinuations, the Biden family, including Joe and Hunter, were not present at the White House when the cocaine was discovered. They were staying at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, at the time. Hunter Biden has a history of substance abuse, as detailed in his memoir “Beautiful Things,” where he spoke about his struggles with crack cocaine addiction. However, he has been sober since 2019, as confirmed in federal court testimony in 2023.
The investigation into the cocaine discovery continues, and the FBI is actively seeking any information or leads that could assist in solving the case. The re-examination of these high-profile cases underscores the FBI’s commitment to upholding the law and uncovering any potential instances of public corruption.
