Fiery chaos at Florida intersection has sheriff’s office searching for dozens of suspects

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in central Florida is on the lookout for 30 individuals who were involved in an “intersection takeover” that caused chaos for drivers and resulted in damage to vehicles. The incident took place at the intersection of South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway on November 30th, as reported by the OCSO on their Facebook page.

According to the sheriff’s office, the group of individuals set a fire in the middle of the roadway and used the space for cars to perform dangerous stunts, such as donuts around the flames. They then proceeded to harass innocent drivers, blocking them from passing through the intersection. In a disturbing scene captured on video, someone can be heard shouting that there is a baby in one of the cars that was caught in the chaos.

The suspects went as far as climbing on top of vehicles and causing damage, with one Tesla driver estimating that his car suffered $60,000 worth of damage after multiple people jumped on it and kicked the windshield until it broke. The reckless and violent behavior displayed by the individuals poses a serious threat to the community, and the OCSO is determined to hold them accountable for their actions.

Some of the suspects attempted to conceal their identities, while others were seen recording the chaos on their cell phones. The incident left many innocent bystanders shaken, with Dave Nutting, a law enforcement specialist and retired deputy, expressing sympathy for those who were caught up in the dangerous situation.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and there have been no reported injuries. The sheriff’s office has shared photographs of the 30 suspects in hopes that the public can help identify them.
