Gabbard establishes new Intelligence Community task force to restore transparency

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has taken a bold step in establishing a new task force aimed at restoring transparency and accountability within the intelligence community. Known as the Director’s Initiative Group (DIG), this group is starting its mission by investigating weaponization within the intelligence community.

One of the primary objectives of DIG is to root out politicization and unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence. Additionally, the group will focus on declassifying information that serves the public interest. By doing so, DIG aims to rebuild trust in the intelligence community and execute the tasks required by President Trump’s intelligence-related executive orders.

The group has already begun reviewing documents for potential declassification, including information related to the origins of COVID-19, the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassination files, the original Trump-Russia investigation, anomalous health incidents, and the Biden administration’s domestic surveillance and censorship against Americans.

Furthermore, DIG is leading assessments of the structure of the intelligence community, its resources, and personnel to improve efficiency and eliminate wasteful spending. This proactive approach aligns with President Trump’s commitment to maximum transparency and accountability within the intelligence community.

In a recent statement to Fox News Digital, Gabbard emphasized the importance of executing the president’s vision by providing timely, apolitical, objective, and relevant intelligence to ensure the safety, security, and freedom of the American people. She also highlighted the group’s efforts to identify wasteful spending, streamline outdated processes, and root out abuses of power and politicization.

Notably, Gabbard has taken action against employees who participated in sexually explicit NSA chatrooms and is actively pursuing individuals responsible for unauthorized leaks of classified information. Her commitment to upholding the integrity and professionalism of the intelligence community is evident in her decisive actions.

In a separate development, Gabbard criticized the Biden administration for allowing sexually explicit and unprofessional chatter to persist on internal agency messaging boards across national intelligence entities. She revealed that these chatrooms were established due to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, and federal employees are currently under investigation for misusing the platform.

As part of her efforts to enforce accountability, Gabbard revoked the security clearances of several individuals, including former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and other political opponents of the Trump administration. She also revoked the security clearances of individuals involved in the Hunter Biden ‘disinformation’ letter.

Overall, Gabbard’s establishment of the Director’s Initiative Group signals a renewed commitment to transparency, accountability, and professionalism within the intelligence community. By addressing key issues such as politicization, unauthorized disclosures, and wasteful spending, DIG aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the intelligence community in fulfilling its essential mission.
