Myles Herro appeared to spark skirmish after high school basketball game

Myles Herro, the younger brother of Miami Heat star Tyler Herro, found himself in the middle of a heated altercation after his Whitnall basketball team suffered a tough 56-49 loss in a sectional semifinal game during the Wisconsin state playoffs.

The incident occurred during the postgame handshake line, where Herro engaged in a tense exchange with an opponent. Videos circulating on social media captured the moment when Herro pushed the other player, who appeared stunned as Herro continued to exchange words with him.

Following the shove, at least one player from the opposing team retaliated by pushing Herro, prompting Whitnall teammates, coaches, and others to step in and diffuse the situation.

Myles Herro, a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, managed to reach a significant milestone despite the defeat. He achieved his 1,000th point during the game and showcased his skills throughout the season, averaging an impressive 21.5 points and 4.7 assists per game.

With interest from multiple college programs, Herro’s future in basketball looks promising. His older brother, Tyler Herro, has already made a name for himself in the NBA, earning a spot on his first All-Star team earlier this year and being named the league’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2022.

Tyler Herro, a standout player for the Miami Heat, is currently averaging 23.8 points and 5.7 assists in 63 games this season. The Heat are fighting for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference as they face off against the Memphis Grizzlies.

In addition to Myles and Tyler, their brother Austin also has basketball talent, having played his freshman year at South Carolina.
