New OINP Skilled Trade Draw Invites 2,844 Express Entry Profiles

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program – OINP Skilled Trade draw today directly invites whopping 2,844 Express Entry profiles offering provincial nomination.

The invitations are being sent to individuals with valid Express Entry profiles created between August 3, 2022 – August 3, 2023, with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of between 250-516 in 46 occupations or NOCs.

No separate OINP profile is required to be eligible for the Express Entry Skilled Trades draw, but legitimate profiles must be in one of the Trade occupations eligible for this draw.

The provincial nomination adds 600 points to the candidate’s existing Express Entry profile.

If invited profiles accept their Ontario Provincial Nomination, the Express Entry CRS score of these profiles will increase to between 850 and 1,116.

This is the 6th selection for the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream in 2023, and a total of 7,512 profiles have been invited so far.

What are the requirements for the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream?

Express Entry profiles created with a minimum of one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in Ontario Major Groups 72 (excluding occupations under transportation officers), 73, 82, 83, 93 (excluding aircraft assemblers and aircraft assembly inspectors), or Minor Group 6320 (excluding cooks) in the last two years qualify automatically for the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream draw.
