No injuries in Kings County house fire

There were no injuries early Monday afternoon when fire damaged a mini home in Kings County.

Kentville firefighters were called to the home on Maple Court in Coldbrook just after 1 p.m. When they arrived, they found fire burning underneath the home and smoke inside.

The fire was contained mostly to the underside of the home, although it did burn up into the building in one small area.

Firefighters from several neighbouring departments were called to the scene as well. Crews were on the scene for just over an hour.

No one was home at the time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Traffic was blocked on a portion of the road while the blaze was being extinguished.
