Nova Scotia mobile primary care clinic headed to Middleton

MIDDLETON, N.S. — Nova Scotia Health’s mobile primary care clinic is stopping in Middleton for three dates between December and January to help residents address non-urgent medical needs.
The drop-in clinic, stationed at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, will temporarily offer a primary care setting from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, 17 and Jan. 7, 2024, for people with mild or moderate health concerns.
Patients can get prescription refills or renewals, and be treated for minor respiratory symptoms, sore throat, earaches, fever, headache, rashes, minor gastrointestinal concerns, cough, flu or cold symptoms, urinary tract infections and muscle pain.
Residents are asked to come prepared with a health card and a list of all medications to ensure timely care for all who seek service.
