Tom Holland speaks on his over two years sobriety

Actor Tom Holland Shares His Journey to Sobriety
Many people participate in “Dry January” as a way to kickstart a healthier lifestyle, and one individual who may serve as inspiration is actor Tom Holland. The “Spider-Man” star recently revealed in an interview with Men’s Health that he has been sober for over two years, attributing his success to a strong support system.
Holland made the decision to stop drinking on his own, without formal treatment. He credits his willpower and the encouragement of his loved ones, including family, friends, and colleagues, for helping him stay on track. Additionally, Holland received valuable advice from his lawyer during a moment of weakness, who reminded him that he would never regret waking up without having had a drink.
Reflecting on his journey, Holland recalled facing challenges on the set of his TV series “A Crowded Room” in 2022, where tensions ran high among the cast. Despite the difficulties, Holland remained committed to his sobriety, realizing that turning to alcohol would only exacerbate the situation.
Following a year-long hiatus from acting, Holland is back in action and has recently joined the cast of director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film “The Odyssey.” In addition to his acting career, Holland has also ventured into the non-alcoholic beverage industry with his own line of beer called Bero.
