Ousted Rep Cori Bush thinks she’ll seek office again: ‘I will always be Squad’

Progressive lawmakers Rep. Cori Bush and Rep. Jamaal Bowman, both members of the \”Squad,\” are preparing to exit Congress after losing their respective Democratic primaries. Despite this setback, both politicians are keeping their options open for a return to political office in the future.

In a recent statement, Rep. Cori Bush expressed her intention to run for office again, stating that she did not expect her time in Congress to be limited to just four years. She emphasized that while she does not have any specific plans at the moment, running for Congress or another position is definitely a possibility in the future. Bush also affirmed her commitment to fighting for those in need alongside her fellow Squad members, emphasizing that their priorities and beliefs will remain unchanged.

Similarly, Rep. Jamaal Bowman has indicated that he may seek office again in the future. Bowman stressed the importance of building power at the local level and expressed his intention to engage with communities in Yonkers, the Bronx, and beyond.
